Introduction
Welcome to argbe.tech (“we,” “our,” or “us”). In this policy, the Website means argbe.tech. The Website is operated by Aleksandr Argunov PR Novi Sad, a sole proprietor in Serbia (MB 67333721, PIB 114113900). Our business activity is 6201 - Computer programming, provided as software development and IT services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process when you visit the Website or send us an inquiry, why we process it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We aim to comply with the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection (“ZZPL”) and follow GDPR-aligned standards.
Data We Collect
We collect only the data we need to run the Website, keep it secure, answer inquiries and, if you allow it, measure how the Website and our ads perform:
- Technical Data
- Your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages you request. Cloudflare processes these on every visit to deliver and protect the Website. On the contact page, Cloudflare Turnstile also checks your browser to tell people from bots.
- Usage Data
- Only if you allow analytics: the pages you view and how long you spend on them, which page sections you see, the links, buttons and menus you use, how far you scroll and read, how far you get through the contact form, including which fields you use and which errors appear, and, for a sample of visits, how fast pages load. When you search the blog, we record only the length of your search and the number of results, never the words. The Website’s own events carry the page path without query strings or fragments, the page language and the service the page covers, never what you type into the form. If the link you followed had campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), events also carry those tags, so we can see which channel brought you. The tools can also receive the full page address and the page you came from. If you allow advertising measurement, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising receive the pages you view.
- Session Recordings and Heatmaps
- Only if you allow analytics: PostHog session recordings and click and scroll heatmaps, which show us how visitors use the Website. We record a sample of about 25% of sessions that have analytics consent; heatmaps cover consented sessions. What you type into any field is masked, and the contact form, its confirmation and other areas marked as containing personal details are blocked from recordings and from click capture. We do not capture network request or response bodies, console logs or the words you search for on the blog.
- Inquiry Data
- When you send the contact form: your name, email address, the service you chose, the review package if you picked one, your project description, the page language, and whether you came from the blog. We also record your cookie choices at the moment you send it.
- Analytics IDs Linked to an Inquiry
- Only if analytics is on when you send the form: the pseudonymous IDs that Google Analytics and PostHog use for your browser, stored with your inquiry. See “Linking an Inquiry to Analytics” below.
- Communication Data
- If you email us or reply to our confirmation email, we keep the messages and the contact details in them so we can answer.
How We Use Your Data
We use this data to:
- Deliver and Protect the Website
- Serve pages, block abusive traffic and protect the contact form from spam. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the Website working and secure.
- Fix Errors
- Find and fix errors in the Website’s server code (Sentry). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in fixing errors so the Website stays reliable.
- Analytics
- See which pages people read, where they leave and how they use each page, so we can improve the Website (Google Analytics, PostHog with its session recordings and heatmaps, and Cloudflare Zaraz monitoring). Only with your permission. Legal basis: your consent.
- Advertising Measurement
- See whether visits came from our ads on Google and Microsoft Bing (Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising). Only with your permission. Legal basis: your consent.
- Answer Inquiries
- Read and reply to your inquiry, keep track of it, and confirm that we received it. Legal basis: if you are asking about hiring us yourself, taking the steps you request before we enter into a contract; for general questions, or if you write on behalf of a company, our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Measure Inquiries
- Count inquiries and how they turn out in Google Analytics and PostHog, without your name, email address or message. Only if analytics was on when you sent the form. Legal basis: the analytics consent you gave before sending the form.
Service Providers
We use providers for hosting and security, error monitoring, handling inquiries and email, and—with your consent—analytics and advertising measurement. Providers working on our behalf process data under our instructions and data processing agreements. Advertising and bot-check providers also process some data for their own purposes. Some providers process data outside Serbia and the EU/EEA, including in the United States.
Contact Form & Inquiries
When you send the contact form, we store what you enter to track and answer your inquiry, and email you a confirmation. An AI assistant in your browser can fill in the form for you; what it enters reaches us only when you send the form yourself. An AI assistant can also send an inquiry for you through the Website’s MCP endpoint, argbe.tech/mcp, once you approve it in the assistant. We receive the full inquiry it sends and handle it the same way as one sent through the form, except that we never link it to analytics. Your assistant’s provider handles what you tell your assistant, and what it reads on the Website, under its own terms. To keep out spam, the form checks that a person sent it. We also keep temporary submission records for 24 hours to process the form reliably. None of this depends on your cookie choices. Linking your inquiry to analytics does: we do it only if analytics is on when you send the form, as the next section explains.
Our server logs record only short error codes for the contact form, never what you entered, and Sentry receives no reports from it.
Linking an Inquiry to Analytics
If analytics is on when you send the form, we link your inquiry to the pseudonymous IDs that Google Analytics and PostHog already use for your browser. This shows us which pages lead to inquiries and which inquiries become projects. If analytics is off, nothing is linked and no inquiry events are sent.
- What We Store
- The Google Analytics client ID from the cookie Zaraz sets for Google Analytics, and the PostHog ID from your browser, stored with your inquiry. We store them only if your analytics choice, read as you send the form, is on.
- What We Send
- Our server sends Google Analytics and PostHog an event when your inquiry arrives, and another each time its review status changes: qualified, not a fit, in progress, became a client, or closed without a project, sometimes with a short reason such as “out of scope” or “timing.” Each event carries a random inquiry ID, the service, page language, review package and where you came from, never your name, email address or message. The Google Analytics event also carries your advertising measurement choice. PostHog does not build a person profile from these events.
- Where It Goes
- Only to Google Analytics and PostHog, not directly to Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising. We import inquiry conversions from Google Analytics into Google Ads.
- Time Limits
- We send events only within 90 days of your inquiry, and only within 72 hours of each status change. After 90 days we stop using the IDs, and an automatic hourly cleanup deletes them from your inquiry record.
- Withdrawing
- Turn analytics off in Privacy preferences, in the browser you used for the inquiry. The __Host-argbe_lead cookie lets our server find your inquiry record, record that you refused analytics and delete both IDs. From another browser or device, or after clearing your cookies, email us and we will do it for you. For events already sent to Google Analytics and PostHog, see “How Long We Keep Data” and “Your Rights.”
How Long We Keep Data
We keep personal data only as long as each purpose needs it:
- Inquiries and Email
- Inquiry records and email correspondence: until we have handled your inquiry and finished any work that follows. After that, we keep only records the law requires or that we need for a legal claim, and delete them when no longer needed.
- Email Delivery Records
- Records of confirmation emails are kept for 30 days.
- Temporary Form Records
- Expire after 24 hours and are deleted at the next hourly cleanup.
- Analytics IDs on an Inquiry
- Used for up to 90 days. Deleted at the next hourly cleanup after that, or straight away if you withdraw.
- Withdrawal Cookie
- 90 days, or until you withdraw.
- Analytics and Advertising Data
- Google Analytics: our settings keep ordinary events for 2 months, and key events and user data for 14 months. New activity from your browser restarts the 14 months only for its Google Analytics ID. Google deletes expired data monthly. Standard reports built from aggregated data are not affected. PostHog session recordings: our settings keep them for 30 days. Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising: each decides how long to keep the data it controls. Periods vary with the type of data and its purpose, such as providing and measuring ads, security and fraud prevention, or legal requirements.
- Error Reports and Logs
- Sentry error reports and timing data: 30 days. Cloudflare Workers request logs: 3 days.
- Cookies
- zaraz-consent: 365 days from your choice.
- On Your Device
- Your theme setting and offline copies stay until you clear this site’s data in your browser. Offline copies are also replaced when we update the service worker’s cache.
Your Rights
Regardless of your location, we extend GDPR-standard rights to you. You have the right to:
- Access
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Erasure
- Request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restriction
- Ask us to limit how we use your personal data, for example while we check a correction.
- Portability
- Receive the data you gave us in a common, machine-readable format.
- Objection
- Object to processing of your personal data.
- Withdraw Consent
- Change your cookie choices at any time in Privacy preferences. Withdrawing does not affect processing that happened before.
- Complaint
- Complain to Serbia’s Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, or to another data protection authority where you have that right.
